What it does not do
Drop has no sleep timer yet: the sound plays until you stop it, or until the Clock app stops it (Timers, When Timer Ends, Stop Playing). It plays one sound at a time, with no mixer, and has no generated white, pink or brown noise. It has no sleep stories, guided voice meditations or sleep tracking. Is Drop free?
It is free to download, with ten sounds free and no ads: rain, dewdrops, fire, forest, river, coffee shop, ocean waves, thunderstorm, bus and fan. Drop Pro unlocks the other 22 sounds, by subscription or with a one-time lifetime purchase.
Does Drop keep playing with the screen locked?
Yes. The sound keeps playing with the screen locked, so the phone can stay dark on the nightstand.
Does Drop have a sleep timer?
Not yet. The sound plays until you stop it. To stop it automatically, use the Clock app: set a timer and choose When Timer Ends, Stop Playing.
Can I mix sounds?
No. Drop plays one sound at a time. If you want to layer rain and a fan, apps such as Rain Rain, Dark Noise or myNoise have a mixer.
Does Drop have white, pink or brown noise?
Not as generated noise. Its noise sounds are a fan, a bus and an electric hum.
Do I need an account? Does it work offline?
No account, and it works offline.
