Best crypto portfolio tracker apps for iPhone in 2026

Some trackers want every wallet you own; some just show prices and a tally. Seven apps for both jobs, ranked, with where each one wins.

Disclosure: we make Crypton, the app ranked first here. Everything we say about the other apps comes from their own App Store pages, and we say plainly where they beat us. Ratings and in-app purchases are from the US App Store on 7 October 2026.

"Portfolio tracker" covers two different jobs. One is glancing at prices and keeping a rough tally of what you own. The other is pulling in every wallet and exchange you use so the app knows your real balance, profit and loss, and taxes. This ranking is for the first job: seeing prices and a simple portfolio quickly, without paying, signing up or connecting anything. If you need the second, CoinStats, Delta and CoinTracker below are built for it.

The ranking

  1. Crypton: best overall for prices and a simple portfolio, free, no account.
  2. Crypto Pro: best for privacy across iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch.
  3. CoinGecko: best for market data, categories and NFT floor prices.
  4. CoinMarketCap: best for watchlists, comparisons and news.
  5. CoinStats: best for syncing many wallets and exchanges, DeFi included.
  6. Delta: best if you also hold stocks, ETFs or forex.
  7. CoinTracker: best for crypto taxes.

Why Crypton is #1

  • It does one job: prices for the top 250 coins, favourites and a portfolio you type in yourself.
  • Free, with no in-app purchases and no subscription. Nothing is held back for a paid tier.
  • No account needed, and nothing to connect: no wallet address, no exchange API key.
  • Price charts from one day to one year on each coin.
  • On iPhone and iPad.

Privacy labels are what each developer declares on the App Store; Apple does not verify them. "Not in its listing" means the App Store description does not mention it, not that the app cannot do it. Ratings are from Apple's public lookup API on 7 October 2026.

1. Crypton: prices and a simple portfolio, nothing else

Crypton lists prices for the top 250 coins with their 24-hour change and market rank, lets you pin favourites, and shows price charts from one day to one year. The portfolio is one you type in: add a coin and how much you hold, and it shows the total in US dollars. It is free, with no in-app purchases and no subscription, and it needs no account. It runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later.

Where others beat it: prices refresh every few hours rather than streaming live, so it is no tool for trading. It covers 250 coins, where CoinGecko and CoinStats cover thousands. It does not connect to wallets or exchanges, and its listing mentions no price alerts, widgets, news, Apple Watch app or tax reports. The portfolio is in US dollars only, and the app is in English only. Its privacy label reads Data Used to Track You (usage data); Crypto Pro, CoinStats and CoinTracker declare no data linked to you.

2. Crypto Pro: private, ad-free, everywhere Apple

Crypto Pro has been on the App Store since 2015 and leans on privacy: its listing says it does no user monitoring or analytics, keeps personal data on your device, stores keys in the Apple keychain and syncs through iCloud only if you choose. It covers cryptocurrencies, precious metals and fiat, imports holdings from wallet addresses or exchange API keys, and has widgets, an Apple Watch app with complications, a Mac menu bar widget, Face ID lock and price notifications. It is free and ad-free; a Premium subscription with a 7-day free trial adds candlestick charts and automatic portfolio sync, and the listing says inviting friends can unlock it too. Best if you want more than Crypton without giving up privacy.

3. CoinGecko: the market, in depth

CoinGecko tracks prices, market cap, volume and charts for more than 10,000 cryptocurrencies, plus floor prices for over 3,000 NFT collections, 100+ coin categories and data on 700+ exchanges. You can build several portfolios from your transactions, synced between the app and the website, set price and large mover alerts, and add home screen widgets. It is free; Premium is a subscription that its listing describes as ad-free with extra perks. Best for researching the market, not just checking it.

4. CoinMarketCap: watchlists, comparisons and news

CoinMarketCap pairs prices with crypto news, shareable watchlists, price alerts, a converter and side-by-side comparisons of two coins over periods from one hour to all time. You can view your portfolio in 90+ fiat currencies, crypto or precious metals, and its listing says you can stay logged out and keep your data on the device. It is free, with monthly and yearly subscription plans. Best if you follow the whole market and the news around it.

5. CoinStats: every wallet and exchange in one place

CoinStats connects to 300+ wallets and exchanges, or takes a pasted wallet address, and syncs Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and EVM chains so CeFi and DeFi sit on one screen. It shows realised and unrealised profit and loss, tracks perpetual futures, has AI answers about your holdings, alerts, news from 140+ sources, widgets and an Apple Watch app, and exports your transaction history for tax tools. It is free, with Premium subscriptions. Best if your crypto is spread across many places and you want it reconciled automatically.

6. Delta: crypto next to stocks

Delta by etoro tracks crypto alongside stocks, ETFs, forex and commodities, syncing with 200+ exchanges, brokers and wallets. Its free plan tracks up to 10 assets with unlimited connections; PRO and PRO+ subscriptions raise the limit, add AI summaries, auto-refreshing and real-time prices and, on PRO+, gains reporting. It syncs across iPhone, iPad and the web. Best if crypto is only part of what you invest in.

7. CoinTracker: built for tax time

CoinTracker is a portfolio tracker and tax tool: add wallets and exchanges (500+ integrations) to see net worth, gains and losses, and it calculates cost basis and capital gains, categorises DeFi transactions, supports tax loss harvesting and generates tax forms you can file with TurboTax, H&R Block or your own accountant. Its listing states read-only access to wallets, end-to-end encryption and SOC 1 and SOC 2 certification. The app is free with no in-app purchases listed; its listing does not give prices for tax reports. Best if your main worry is the tax return.

How to choose

None of these apps is investment advice, and a tracker that shows a number is only as accurate as the data behind it. Before connecting an exchange, read the privacy label and use read-only access.

Questions people ask

It depends on how you hold crypto. If you only want prices and a portfolio you enter by hand, Crypton is free with no in-app purchases (we make it). Crypto Pro, CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap are free to download with optional premium subscriptions, and Delta's free plan tracks up to 10 assets.

Can I track my crypto without connecting a wallet or exchange?

Which crypto tracker app works without an account?

Which crypto app helps with taxes?

CoinTracker calculates cost basis and capital gains and says you can file with TurboTax, H&R Block or your own accountant. CoinStats exports your transaction history for tax tools, and Delta PRO+ includes gains reporting. Crypton does not do taxes.

Is it safe to connect an exchange to a portfolio tracker?

Trackers that sync with exchanges usually ask for read-only access; CoinTracker states that it uses read-only access to wallets. Read each app's privacy label and policy first, or avoid the question by entering holdings by hand.

Can one app track crypto and stocks together?

Delta by etoro tracks stocks, ETFs, forex and commodities alongside crypto. The other apps here are crypto only, and Crypto Pro also covers precious metals and fiat currencies.
