Your chats
- The model runs on your device. Your messages and its answers are never sent to us or to anyone else.
- Chats are stored only on the device. Deleting a chat deletes it from the device.
- There is no account and no sign-up.
- If you share a chat, it is a text file that you send yourself, with the app you choose.
What the app sends over the network
- Downloading a model. Models are downloaded from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). If you turn on alternative download source, they come from hf-mirror.com or modelscope.cn instead. These sites see a normal download request from your IP address; they do not see your chats. Once a model is on the device, Pinku does not contact them again to use it.
- The list of models. At most once a day, Pinku downloads the list of available models from pinku-models.web.app. It sends nothing about you.
- Pinku Pro purchases. Payments go through Apple. We use RevenueCat to know whether you have Pro: it receives your purchase history and an anonymous app user ID, never your chats.
- Contact. If you tap Contact, Feedback or Request a model, your email app opens a message to us. Nothing is sent unless you send that email.
What stays on the device
- Your settings, custom instructions and downloaded models.
- A few counters (for example, whether onboarding was finished) that help the app decide what to show. They are not sent anywhere.
- Reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device.
No ads, no tracking
Pinku has no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDK. Apple's App Store privacy label for Pinku lists only purchase history and an identifier used for Pro.
